Wool Blanket "Hackler x BLICKFANG " by Ruben Hackler

The winner of the 2023 Blickfang Design Fair x ZigZagZurich Wool Blanket Competition, Ruben Hackler. The winning design is a humorous interpretation of what a wool blanket should be by Ruben Hackler - We want frost protection!

The blanket's design is inspired by leaflets from the Swiss youth movement of the 1980s. The insurgents protested against conformism, police brutality, and the lack of cultural spaces. They criticized interpersonal coldness and described themselves as "icebreakers." A portion of the designer's revenue supports alternative cultural institutions.
